Understanding and Navigating Tantrums, Meltdowns and Aggression

My Qualifications

I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Educational) through the regulating body HCPC PYL28373. The title of Educational Psychologist is protected by law and professionals must be registered to use it.

  • Doctorate in Child, Adolescent & Educational Psychology, Queen's University, Belfast, 2012 

  • Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (Level One) 2012​ 

  • Foundation Level Training in Family Therapy (2011)  

  • BA in Psychology, Trinity College, Dublin, 2008 

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development
     


My Ethos

I have a particular interest in Child Development, Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Infant Mental Health, Positive & Gentle Parenting. 

I draw from many approaches including positive, gentle, and conscious parenting. I support parents to develop a relational approach to parenting that aligns with their values and current capacity.
